Isidor ``Izzy'' Rosenberg, 93, of the 100 block of Cromwell Parkway, died Feb. 18, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Rosenberg was a native of New York City and was preceded in death by his daughter, Rona Rosenberg Leonard. He was the former manager of Crossroads Restaurant. He was a member of Temple Israel and Masonic Lodge (NU)1, Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Irene Rosenberg; a daughter, Ellen Sue Mersel and her husband Joseph, both of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Sheryl Leonard Unger, Mark Mersel and his wife Andrea, Jodi Dunkel and her husband Harold, and Richard Mersel; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Adam and Matthew Mersel.
A chapel service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz and Cantor Yael Fischman. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Susie and Joe Mersel, 439 Carl Street, Norfolk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Temple Israel or to Jewish Family Services of Tidewater.
