C. Arlene Morris, 68, of the 3100 block of Walden St., died Feb. 17, 1996, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mrs. Morris, the widow of George E. ``Buddy'' Morris, was a native of Alma, Ga. She was retired from Farmers Market and Dunkin Donuts, Raleigh, N.C. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Christine Miller of Chesapeake; two sons, Clifford Lowery of Greensboro, N.C., and Hershel E. Davis of Chesapeake; four stepsons, Freddie Morris and George Morris, both of Clayton, N.C., Samuel Morris of Norfolk, and Lane Morris of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Herschel E. Dean of San Diego, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Amos L. Eby. The family will be at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to Chesapeake Rescue Squad.
