Willie Kate Snow, 82, of the 3300 block of Ocean Shore Ave., went to be with the Lord Feb. 18, 1996.

Willie Kate, a native of Garland, Texas, was the widow of Walter H. Snow, longtime members of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include a daughter, Lillian S. Loher; three grandchildren, Catherine Worthington, Dave and Mark Adams; four great-grandchildren, Reid, Nick, and David Adams and Ashley Worthington, all of Virginia Beach.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with the eulogy presented by Rev. Robert Eason. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Norfolk, with a social gathering following in the Fellowship Hall with Rev. William E. Amon presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Memorial Fund, 288 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
