HATTIE M. BRONSON

Hattie M. Bronson, 82, of the 2200 block of Shipyard Road, died Feb. 16, 1996.

Mrs. Bronson, the widow of Charlie Bronson, was retired from Naval Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Ahoskie, N.C., and a member of Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth. She was involved in Sunday school, Loyal Workers Club, the Missionary group, and a member of the Gospel Choir. She was a past matron of Venus Chapter (NU)42, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Chesapeake Forward.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Third Baptist Church by the Rev. Leo Whitaker. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer and Heart Associations. The family and friends will assemble at the residence at 1 p.m.
