Elizabeth W. Gardner, 85, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, died Feb. 18, 1996.
Mrs. Gardner, the widow of Lewis Robert Gardner, was a native of Fentress, Va. She was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Marie W. Hudson of Virginia Beach; first cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Herman A. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Hearring, Mrs. Virginia Wooten, Mrs. Hazel Hearring, Mr. Beverly Hall, Grace Atkinson Hagerty, John Atkinson, and William J. Hearring; and three nephews, Christopher, Peter and Evan Wright.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds. Memorial donations may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, 715 Baker Road, Virginia Beach, 23462. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is in charge.
