Edith Teresa Agate Beniker, 69, of the 2400 block of Pleasure House Road, died Feb. 18, 1996 in her home.
Mrs. Beniker was born on Nov. 17, 1926 in London, England and had resided in Chesapeake Beach for 33 years.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Beniker; three sons, Joseph T. Agate and his wife, Gloria of Virginia Beach, Michael F. Agate and his wife, Debbie of Norfolk and William R. Beniker III and his wife, Rhonda of Virginia Beach; three daughters, Mary T. Vickers and her husband, Jack of Grand Rapids, Mich., Kathleen Lane and her husband, Randy of Fort Worth, Texas, and Robin Jones and her husband, J. W. ``Bud'' of Alvaredo, Texas; a brother, Patrick Smith of Harriston, Ontoner, Canada; a sister, Kathleen Martin of Newark, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Resue Squad, Virginia Beach or to the American Cancer Society.
