Mildred Jones Seymour, of Surfside Avenue, died Feb. 19, 1996, in her residence. She was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Lydia L. Jones and a native of Norfolk County.
Survivors include her husband, Conrad Albert Seymour; a daughter, Mildred Midgett of Virginia Beach; a son, Wayne A. Seymour and his wife, Jane, of Virginia Beach; two stepsons, Harry Seymour of Nags Head, N.C., Conrad A. Seymour Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C.; a grandson, Ian Seymour of Virginia Beach; five step-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; several nephews and a niece; many loving friends including her special lifelong friend Josephine Flippen.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Lamar Sentell. A visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or to Sentara Norfolk Hospice.
