The body of a man was found Monday morning outside Chesterfield Heights Elementary School.
Larry Hill, spokesman for the Norfolk Police Department, said investigators treated the death as suspicious. However, he said, it appeared that the death was by natural causes.
The man was identified by Hill as Larry N. Williams, 53, of the 2700 block of Stanhope Ave.
The body was taken to the Norfolk Crime Lab, where it was to be examined today.
A teacher spotted the body on school property, but it was far from the school building, Hill said. The school is located at 2915 Westminster Ave. which is in the same neighborhood as Stanhope Avenue. by CNB
