ALICE F. RODGERS

Alice Faye Perry Rodgers, 55, of the 3100 block of Petre Road, died Feb. 19, 1996, in her home.

Ms. Rodgers, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Willie Earl Rodgers.

She leaves to mourn two daughters, Sharon McClain and Mary Franklin of Norfolk; three sons, William Rodgers and Darryl Rodgers, both of Chesapeake, Dwight Rodgers of Georgia; four sisters, Ollie Dew, Yvonne Myles, Annie Stacy, Alberta Saunders; four brothers, Ernest Perry, Allen Perry, Calvin Perry, Grady Perry; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three aunts, Lemora Carey, Sara Love, Ella Stallings; a host of relatives and friends; and a special friend, Mr. Earl Joyner Jr.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Graves Funeral Home by Elder William Fayton III. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at 1 p.m. at the residence. There will be a wake service today from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
