Alexine Maozetta Smith, 69, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, in Portsmouth.
She was the widow of Nick A. Smith, and a native of Gates Co., N.C.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon S. Monk and her husband, Larry, of Chesapeake, and Tanya L. Smith of Portsmouth; two sons, Nick A. Smith and his wife, Jeannie, of Chesapeake, and Robert S. Smith and his wife, Kafty, of Chesapeake; a sister, Tassie Brady of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will gather at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 3408 Annandale Drive, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to The Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
