Cecilia K. Merkle, 90, of 1012 Justis St., died Sunday Feb. 18, 1996, at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Elaine McGeein of Virginia Beach; a son, Lee Merkle of Toledo, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
There will be a Joyous Liturgy of the Resurrection at 3 p.m. Saturday Feb. 24, 1996, at Ascension Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. James Parke. Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan House. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
