Dorothy L. Jones
NORFOLK - Dorothy Lloyd Jones, 77, of the 8100 block of Deerfield Road, died Feb. 20, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Jones was a native of Richmond, Va., where she worked for and retired from C&P Phone Company.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Barney T. Jones, U.S. Navy CWO4; her son, Lloyd Thomas Jones; and her sister, Kathryn L. Martin. She was the daughter of the late Holt and Kathleen Lloyd. Survivors include a son, Bruce R. Jones of Norfolk; two sisters, Margaret L. Roach and Joyce L. Egan.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1445 Norview Ave., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Epilepsy Association of Virginia, Highland Center, P.O. Box BRH, University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, Charlottesville, Va., 22908.
