Frances ``Nita'' Walker, 79, of the 200 block of Sir Oliver Road, died Feb. 21, 1996, in her residence.
She was a loving wife and mother. She was a native of Savannah, Ga., and a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, William ``Jeff'' Walker; daughter, Cheryl Brumfield of Virginia Beach; son, William Jefferson Walker Jr. of Lovettsville, Va.; sister, Maribel Osterheldt of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Walker.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Harry T. Dixon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother.
