Oliver B. Stevens died Feb. 20, 1996.
He was the Noble Grand of the Massachusetts Lodge of Odd Fellows and the chief patriarch of Masasoit Encampment (NU)1 of Massachusetts.
He is survived by his wife, Irenia Hemingway Stevens; son, Carlton Stevens of Dorchester; daughter, Beverly Worrell of Virginia Beach; sister, Maude Jameson of Rockland, Mass.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one niece. He was the stepfather of Almon Brann of Dorchester.
A funeral will be held in the Keaney Funeral Home, 1632 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, Saturday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited for visiting hours today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. with the Odd Fellows Service being held at 8 p.m. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
