TEEN CONVICTED OF MURDER

A teenager accused of killing a 41-year-old man during a robbery last year was convicted of first-degree murder Thursday.

William Nixon, 16, could receive life in prison for shooting Terry L. Flythe in the Dale Homes housing project on June 28. Nixon, also convicted of robbery and firearms charges, is to be sentenced May 6.
