Shame on Del. William Robinson and state Sen. Yvonne Miller for attacking the Norfolk Sheriff's Department. Their actions are further proof that we need to clean house of these mean-spirited, self-serving politicians.
As taxpayers, we applaud Sheriff Robert J. McCabe's incentive programs. Prisoners don't need educational programs or exercise equipment! May we remind our representatives that these people are in jail because they are criminals who are a threat and a menace to society.
We think Sheriff McCabe has done an excellent job considering the mess he inherited. One friend suggests instead of televisions with cable, exercise equipment and the like, let's put prisons back on the chain gang and stand over them with a shot gun and bull whip. Let's make jail a jail and not a boys' and girls' club for the criminal elements of society.
