NORFOLK - Nickie Nathaniel Green Jr., infant son of Tara and Nickie N. Green Sr., of the 2900 block of S. Cape Henry Ave., died Feb. 22, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Although Nickie's time with us was short, our love will be deeper, our lives will be fuller, because we shared his precious moments, and his memory will live in our hearts forever. As some people only dream of angels, we held one in our hands.
Survivors also include a brother, Matthew Green and a sister, Genesis Green, both of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Ms. Mildred Artis of Chesapeake; paternal grandmother, Ms. Gerrilyn Green; and paternal grandfather, Alfred Green Sr., both of Norfolk; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Charity Springs of Norfolk; godmother, Miss Deborah Scott of Norfolk; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Charles M. Springs Jr. in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
