Margaret Overton Bateman, 78, of the 1300 block of Dena St., died Feb. 22, 1996.
Mrs. Bateman, a native of Norfolk, was the widow of Roscoe C. Bateman.
Survivors include two sisters, Patricia Staley and Virginia Culpepper, both of Chesapeake; three brothers, Cecil R. Overton and Edward Overton, both of Chesapeake, Frank Overton of Norfolk.
Services will be private. The family will receive friends at Pat Staley's, 1306 Dena St., Chesapeake, on Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
