Regarding ``Taxpayers to pay most of Hillary's book-tour fare'' (news, Feb. 7), I say: Why?
Mrs. Clinton has probably written a wonderful book; so have many other people. Why should taxpayers' funds be used to publicize her personal works? I'm thrilled that some of the proceeds will be given to charity. Who will get that tax write-off?
Mrs. Clinton needs to use her personal funds to publicize her book. Americans are taxed enough without helping Hillary pack her pocketbook.
