Mary Kocubchik, 92, of the 2400 block of Haversham Close, died Feb. 25, 1996, at her daughter's residence.
Mrs. Kocubchik was born in Czechoslovakia and had been a longtime resident of New York City, before moving to Virginia Beach in 1982. She was the widow of John Kocubchik.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Safarino of Virginia Beach and Mary Reiners of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Church of the Holy Family by Father Richard Mooney. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. A Christian Wake service will be said at 7 p.m. today by Chaplain Jim Fedor at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel.
