Ruth Kathryn Pentz, 85, of the 600 block of Redgate Ave., died Feb. 26, 1996, in a local hospital.
Miss Pentz was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and lived in Norfolk most of her life. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha Hume Pentz. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Helen Frances Clark and Eulalie Roundtree Davis.
Survivors include a niece, Jeanne Clark Janis, and two great-nieces, Mary Clark Janis and Amanda Clark Janis, all of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Charles A. Joy. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
