Gilbert Fred Robinson Jr., 66, of the 400 block of Lynnshores Dr., died Feb. 25, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Robinson, a native of Jonesboro, Ark., had retired from the Navy as a Lt. Cmdr. He had also retired as a custodian from Virginia Beach General Hospital. He held a Bachelor's of Art in criminology and an Associate's of Art in Police Science.
Survivors include his wife, Ann M. Robinson; three daughters, Barbara Bedard of Fall River, Mass., Cindy Michaud of Burns, Wyo. and Robin Goliff of Hampton; four sons, Keith Helton of Virginia Beach, Robbie Robinson of Texas, ``Mike'' Paul Michael Helton of Moyock, N.C., and Rodney Robinson of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Lynnhaven Chapel. Burial will be in Paragould, Ark. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
