Frank P. Crowell, 87, of the 200 block of Meadow Wood Drive, died Feb. 25, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
He was born in Manchester, N.H., and was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Watkins Crowell. He was a retired employee of VEPCO where he worked for for 45 years and was a member of the Churchland Lions Club. He was a 33rd degree Mason and was a 50-year member of Tuckahoe Masonic Lodge (NU)347.
He is survived by his son, Cary Mason Crowell and his wife Doris of Colorado Spring, Colo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Ralph W. Bayfield in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
