Mrs. Clarissa Hollowell Hendrix, 89, died Sunday, in the Britthaven Nursing Home of Edenton.
A native of Chowan County, Mrs. Hendrix was the daughter of the late R. Cleveland and Martha Eason Hollowell, and the wife of the late Julian C. Hendrix. Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and a member of the Ballards Bridge Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ballards Bridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Green officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Evans Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
