Sarah F. Moore, 75, of the 1900 block of Millville Road, died Feb. 26, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Moore, the widow of Woodrow C. Moore, was a native of Elizabeth City, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra F. Moore of Chesapeake; three sons, Minister Norman C. Moore of Portsmouth, Darwin W. Moore of Suffolk, Dannie B. Moore of Chesapeake; a sister, Maxine Ferebee of Long Island, N.Y.; four brothers, Myles Garfield Griffin, George Griffin, Roland Griffin and James Earl Griffin, all of Elizabeth City; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Church of Christ Holiness, Portsmouth, by Elder Alfred Bolden and Bishop Albert N. Moore. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday. The family will be at 1960 Millville Road, Chesapeake, and will assemble at the home of her son, Minister Norman Moore, 1114 South Carrington Crescent, Portsmouth, for the funeral.
