CECIL A. KING

Cecil A. King, 37, of the 500 block of Normandy St., died Feb. 25, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. King, a native of Norfolk County, was a food service worker at Poco Food Service Co.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie C. King of Portsmouth; his mother, Catherine C. King of Chesapeake; two sisters, Pamela King of Richmond, Tammy King of Chesapeake; five brothers, Thomas King Jr. and Mark King, both of Norfolk, Larry King of Chesapeake, U.S. Army Sgt. Anthony King, and Morris King of Portsmouth; three sisters-in-law; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was predeceased by his father Thomas E. King Sr.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 2710 Columbus Ave., Portsmouth, by the Rev. Robert L. Baker and Rev. Curtis E. Edmonds. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Friday. The family will be at the home of his mother, Catherine King, 1423 Riddick St., Chesapeake, and will assemble there for the funeral.
