JAMES R. ANDERSON

YNCS SW/AW James R. ``Andy'' Anderson, 43, of the 8000 block of Tarpon Place, died Feb. 21, 1996, at sea off the coast of Bermuda.

He was a Senior Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy where he had worked for 23 years. He was a native of Wadena, Minn.

He is survived by his wife, Angel Anderson; two daughters, Paula D. Anderson and Jamie M. Anderson, both of Norfolk; son, Daniel E. Anderson of Norfolk; two sisters, Carol McCann of Downey, Calif. Joyce Rix of Fergus Falls, Minn.; brother, Robert Anderson of Owatoawa, Minn. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Norma Anderson and a brother, Roger Anderson. He was raised by his uncle Selmer Holmes of Henning, Minn.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Chapel of The Woods N.O.B. Burial is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
