Thelma O. Parham, 74, of the 300 block of Green St. died Feb. 26, 1996.
She was the widow of Wilbur H. Parham Sr. She was retired and had been employed by the Portsmouth School Board for 10 years. She was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the senior choir and a missionary.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen E. White, Valerie T. Parker; a son, Wilbur H. Parham Jr.; a sister, Margaret O. Green; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and a great aunt, Catherine O. Epps.
A funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church, the Rev. J.B. Sharpe presiding. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at 3309 Gwin St., Portsmouth.
