Kenneth G. Hardy, a suspect in the slaying of a man whose frozen body was found in a shed in Denbigh on Jan. 12, was expected to be brought by authorities from Texas on Tuesday night.
Hardy, 28, is also a suspect in the slaying of a South Carolina man who police think was abducted and slain on Jan. 22.
Police think Hardy stole the South Carolina man's car and drove it to Texas.
The car was recovered near the El Paso location where Hardy was arrested Feb. 16.
Police have not said how they think Hardy got to South Carolina from Virginia.
Hardy is a suspect in the death of 41-year-old Michael H. Martin, whose body was found Jan. 12 in an abandoned shed.
Martin, who recently retired from the Coast Guard after 23 years, disappeared after leaving work in York County for his home on 58th Street in Newport News on Jan. 9.
Police later found his car, a 1989 silver Mitsubishi Gallant, abandoned in Newport News.
