Robert Horace Blair, 81, of the 1300 block of Creamer Road, passed away Feb. 27, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Blair, the widower of Rosa Hardy Blair, was a native of Richmond, Va. He was retired from the U.S. Civil Service as a tool designer at St. Juliens Naval Depot. He was a member of Burroughs Memorial Baptist Church, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge (NU)39, the Red Legionnaires of the Moose, and the American Federation of Government Employees Local (NU)022.
Survivors include three stepsons, Garnett Franklin Taylor of Springfield, Va., Thomas H. Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Edward Paul Schwab Jr. of Hillsboro, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a cousin, Audrey Holmes of Norfolk; and a special friend, Mrs. Evelyn Pounds.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Don Harris. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Burroughs Memorial Baptist Church. Moose rites will be accorded at the graveside.
