A Zero's employee, who became upset with a co-worker after customers complained about slow service Tuesday night, cut the woman on the head, then bit and scratched her.
The victim - Clarice N. Peebles, 20, of the 300 block of College Drive, Franklin - was treated at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She had been working at Zero's only a short time, police spokesman Mike Simpkins said.
Police arrested Farrah E. Knight, 19, of the 100 block of North Lloyd St. and charged her with malicious wounding and use of knives in the commission of a felony.
The incident happened about 8:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Main St.
