John Henry ``Bob White'' White Sr., of the 2800 block of Early St., died Feb. 26, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. White, a native of Norfolk, was a domestic maintenance engineer for the city of Norfolk. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Lee White; three daughters, Barbara Jean Harris of Louisville, Ky., Deborah White Haskins of Norfolk, Paulette Whitehall of Chulavista, Calif.; three sons, John Henry White Jr. and James White, both of Norfolk, Walter White of Chesapeake; two sisters, Goldie White of North Carolina and Hattie White of Norfolk; two brothers, Charlie White of Portsmouth, Howard White of North Carolina; and a host of grand and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Discipleship Church by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing at 4 p.m. today. The family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
