With thousands of trees damaged in the February ice storms, the Chesapeake Department of Public Works is behind schedule in picking up downed limbs.
Regular bulk trash service - such as picking up old furniture or appliances - has been suspended until all tree limbs are picked up.
City officials said they expect to be on schedule within two weeks. Crews have been working Monday through Saturday to pick up the tree limbs downed by recent storms. by CNB
