Addie H. Hathcock, 87, of the 400 block of Granada Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 29, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Hathcock was born in Cottage Grove, Tenn., and was the daughter of the late Olin and Sallie Palmer Howard. She was the widow of James H. Hathcock and was a retired payroll clerk with more than 20 years of service with the federal government. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an active bridge club player.
Survivors include a sister, Billie Hoffman of Falls Church, Va.; five nieces, Martha Howard Scott of Chesapeake, Janie Lukomski of Falls Church, Katherine Stonnington of Gainesville, Fla., Liz Howard of Arlington, Va., and Sallie Barnes of McLean, Va.; two nephews, Shad Hoffman of Hollandale, Fla., and Richard Hoffman of Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; and three great-nieces, Alexa Brent Scott of Chesapeake, Jana Lukomski and Kyra Lukomski, both of Falls Church; and a great-nephew, Michael Barnes of McLean, Va.
Burial will be at sea. There will be no viewing or visitation. Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is handling the arrangements.
