The City Council took the following actions at its meeting on Tuesday: Council accepted resignations of individuals from the Youth Services Committee and the Drainage Committee. Approved, 9-0.

Refunds of assessed taxes to Lee & Leigh Corp., $2,799.22; Eden North Partners LP, $7,552.04 and Virginia Holding Corp., $81.67. Approved, 9-0.

Julian and Elizabeth Greenough and B.H. Daniels request for a zoning reclassification of property located on Jule Drive from agricultural to residential. Approved, 9-0.

Request by Police Department for appropriation of $442.68 of overtime reimbursement funds allocated by the Drug Administration. Approved, 9-0.

Request by Police Department for appropriation of $5,390 of funds received from the Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority for contractual services. Approved, 9-0.

Consideration of a resolution requesting the Virginia Department of Transportation to add and delete streets to the Urban Highway System. Approved, 9-0.

Request by the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office for authority to submit a narcotics prosecutor and legal adviser grant application to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services. Approved, 9-0.
