Robert Lee Turner, 91, of 2756 Parson Drive, died March 2, 1996, in his home.
He worked for The Virginia Railroad from 1922 until 1932. He was a retired farmer. He was a former active member of Boaz Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Rhodes Turner, and three children, Mrs. Ellis L. ``Jean'' Joyner of Franklin, Mrs. Challis ``Tink'' Brinkley of Windsor, and Robert C. ``Bobby'' Turner, of Franklin. He was predeceased by his daughter, Grace Loucile Turner. He also leaves seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. James B. Lambeth Jr. in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home. Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence today from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windsor Rescue Squad.
