RALPH A. MULCARE JR.

Ralph A. Mulcare Jr., 64, of the 6500 block of Knotts Island Road, a resident of Knotts Island, Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Mulcare, a native of Richmond, Va., was the son of the late Ralph Anthony Mulcare Sr. and Laura W. Gills. He retired as a glass engraver after 20 years of service with Miller and Rhoades Department Stores and later retired from a second career as a master dance instructor with Miss Cleiland Donnan's Junior Assembly Cotillion. He was a sponsor of the Virginia Museum Youth Guild and a member of the Knotts Island United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his foster mother, Anne P. Whitener, of Richmond; and his foster family Furman, Mary, Gresh, Anne, Scott, and Katie Wall, all of Virginia Beach.

A memorial church service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Knotts Island United Methodist Church by the Rev. Frank T. Jennings. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knotts Island United Methodist Church, 675 Knotts Island Road, Knotts Island, N.C., 27950.
