RAWLS W. NORFLEET

Rawls Wilson Norfleet, 76 of the 200 block of Hickory Road East, died March 1, 1996 in Chesapeake General Hospital.

Mr. Norfleet was a retired broker of Norfleet Realty and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist and a member of the American Legion Post 280. He was the son of the late Alvah E. and Nannie Lee Hines Norfleet and was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Mary Norfleet.

Survivors include two sisters, Marian A. Styron of Chesapeake, Jeri A. Compton of Virginia Beach; a brother, Forrest L. Norfleet of Chesapeake; a sister-in-law, Rachel Norfleet; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, at 11 a.m. in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave. Norfolk, Va. 23513. Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
