Bernice ``Bert'' Artis, of the 200 block Beazley Drive, died March 1, 1996, at Manning Convalescent Home, Portsmouth.
She was a native of Norfolk County and a member of First Baptist Church, Money Point, Chesapeake.
Survivors include a daughter, Hurley Artis Jr. of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren; and two nieces.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday at First Baptist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Woodley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
