A FEW YEARS AGO, Jaci Segaloff commented that she had worked in the fashion industry for so much of her life that she couldn't imagine life without it.
Sadly, her clientele will have to live life without Jaci, at least the retail store by that name. After 12 years of running a boutique on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Segaloff is closing her doors in mid-April.
She says she wants to free time for travel.
Segaloff still plans to do some work in the field. She foresees seasonal showings of treasures purchased abroad and will continue to make herself available for personal shopping.
Anyone who has met this veteran of the fashion industry will never forget her contagious and enthusiastic response to fashion and all it has to offer.
