Richard B. Brinkman, 39, a native of Camp Lejeune, N.C., died March 5, 1996.
Mr. Brinkman, a contract administrator with Defense Logistics Agency, was a former Naval Aviation Depot employee. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Virginia Beach and Izzak Walton League.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle J. Brinkman; two daughters, Brittany Brinkman and Brooke Brinkman, both of Virginia Beach; his parents, Bridget Hawoo Brinkman and Robert C. Brinkman, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Laura Antle of London, England, and Linda Fordham of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Robert F. Brinkman of Centreville, Va., and Kevin Brinkman of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Paul L. Kettner at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
