Elizabeth ``Lizzy'' White, of the 500 block of Young Mills Lane, died March 4, 1996, at Riverside Convalescent Center, Newport News.
Mrs. White, the widow of Elijah White, was a native of Lynchburg, Va., and a former member of Antioch Baptist Church, Berkley, Norfolk.
Survivors include three daughters, Katherine Skinner of Newport News, Dreamer Poindexter of New York and Shirley White of Norfolk; two sons, Billy White of Newport News, Clarence White of Oxford Hill, Md.; two sisters, Lucille Slate of Norfolk, Annie Davis of Springfield, Md.; four brothers, Milton R. Jones, Richard Jones and Nelson Jones of Roanoke, Va., and James C. Jones of Norfolk; 51 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Fitchett Funeral Home Chapel, Chesapeake, by Dr. Jesse E. Featherston Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1009 East Charlotte St., Norfolk.
