Walter Raymond Daniels, of the 100 block of W. St. Northwest, died March 1, 1996, at District of Columbus General Hospice.
Mr. Daniels, a native of Weldon, N.C., was retired from the military. He was a member of Saint Theresa's Catholic Church, Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Corinthian R. Mack; a sister, the Rev. Fannie D. Finney, H.H.D.; a brother, Dr. Benjamin F. Daniels; stepbrothers, Mr. Estee Mack and Mr. Willie Mack. He was predeceased by his father, Mr. Walter P. Daniels, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Daniels.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norfolk, by Father John Boddie. Burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery, Virginia Beach. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge.
