EDWARD C. OUTLAW

Rear Admiral Edward Cobb Outlaw, of 3412 Westover Road, died March 5, 1996, in Duke University Medical Center.

He was a graduate of the U.S. Navy Academy Class of 1935. He had served in the U.S. Navy for 36 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Terr Outlaw; a son, Edward C. ``Bo'' Outlaw of Mt. Airy, N.C.; a stepson; three stepdaughters; three grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham. Memorials should be made to a favorite charity. Howerton and Bryan Funeral Home, Durham, is in charge of the arrangements.
