Marie Jones Irvine, 101, of 200 West Constance Road, died March 6, 1996.
A native of Lumber City, Ga., she was the daughter of the late William E. Jones and Mary Wilcox Jones and the widow of Henry W. Irvine. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary R. Baird. Mrs. Irvine was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 3 p.m. at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. George H. Close, Jr. Memorial donations may be made to Oxford United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad. R. W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
