BODY CLADDING ADDS CLOUT

GARY C. KNAPP for The Virginian-Pilot

William Perkins likes the looks of silver cladding against wild

berry on his 1996 Chrysler Sebring LXi. He expects the cladding will

serve a useful purpose in preventing nicks and scrapes on the car's

doors.

Cladding is a standard feature on the 1996 Oldsmobile Bravada. The

cladding here is molded in plastic to match the body of the car for

a clean monochromatic looks.

The cladding on the 1996 Mitsubishi Montero SR ensures that this

vehicle can take off-road abuse.

The Pontiac Trans Sport uses contrasting gold cladding to protect

the lower part of this turquoise minivan.
