Elmore Proctor Grainger Jr., 74, of Route 2, Box 132, died March 8, 1996. He was a member of Cedar Falls Baptist Church, Fayetteville, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Grainger; two sons, Ronald Alison Grainger of Supply, N.C., Alan Proctor Grainger of Linden; a brother, Leverne E. Grainger of Nichols, S.C.; two sisters, Vivian Bearsoff of Whiteville, N.C., Carolyn Soles of Nichols; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 8 p.m. today at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Floyd Benfield. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Nichols. A visitation will be today at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Falls Baptist Church Building Fund, 6181 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, or the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Nichols.
