Laura Debalski Patterson, 92, of the 800 block of W. 37th St., died March 7, 1996, at her residence.
Mrs. Patterson was born in New Jersey, and was the widow of Willie E. Patterson Jr. and was preceded in death by a son, Willie E. Patterson III. Mrs. Patterson was a Jehovah's Witness and a homemaker and seamtress.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Painter of Norfolk; a sister, Agnes Lewis; a brother, William Debalski; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bay Congregation, 8827 Chesapeake Blvd., at 10 a.m. Monday with the Brother Derrick McCraw officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madonna Home, 814 W. 37th St., Norfolk, 23508. Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
