Hazel Madeline Morris, 76, died March 8, 1996, at her residence.
Mrs. Morris, a native of Princess Anne County, was a former member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, Fla.
Survivors include her husband, Jack O. Morris; three sons, David K. Morris of Virginia Beach, Carroll L. Palmer and his wife, Diana D. Palmer of Virginia Beach, Broughton L. Palmer and his wife, Linda, of Virginia Beach; her mother, Ava A. Carroll of Virginia Beach; a sister, Denie Biondino and her husband, Nick of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Aaron E. Carroll; two brothers, Kenneth E. Carroll and Warren D. Carroll; and a grandson, Steven W. Malbone.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Charity United Methodist Church by the Rev. T.T. Markham and Rev. Frank T. Jennings. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and also at the residence at other times. Memorial donations may be made to Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
