Robert Edward Kinsey Sr., 73, of the 200 block of Katherine St., died March 7, 1996 in Obici Hospital.
Kinsey, who was born in Norfolk retired as an electrician with the Kinsey Electric Company. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church and a member of the Men's Bible class. He was also a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge 141.
He is survived by his wife, Lell Bailey Kinsey; a stepdaughter, Constance O. Hall of Richmond; four sons, Rober E. Kinsey Jr., Kenneth H. Kinsey, Gary L. Kinsey Sr., all of Suffolk, and Bruce T. Kinsey of Waverly, Va.; two sisters, Kathleen K. Williams of Portsmouth, Hazel L. Kinsey of Suffolk; five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Henry Kinsey Sr. and Emma Ansell Kinsey.
A funeral will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Hill Funeral Home, the Rev. Rob Vaughn presiding. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family in the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday and other times in the residence.
